The prostate is a walnut shaped gland found in almost all male mammals. In human beings, it forms a very important part of the male reproductive system as it is primarily responsible for the production of semen. It is situated just below the bladder, surrounding the urethra in a circular fashion. The prostate gland requires the male hormone “testosterone” for proper functioning and regulation.

With advancing age, testosterone production tends to decrease gradually; leading to the various problems associated with the prostate gland. Moreover, the prostate gland can be adversely affected by various factors like obesity, improper diet and pollution etc. The common problems associated with the prostate gland are detailed below.

    1. Benign prostatic hyperplasia: BPH normally affects men older than fifty. It involves enlargement of the prostate gland making urination difficult and painful. In severe cases urination stops completely.

    2. Prostatitis: Inflation of the prostate gland is called prostatitis. It varies in severity; with the more severe cases being treated with antibiotics.

    3. Prostate cancer: Prostate cancer is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths annually. It is rarely diagnosed early as it is asymptomatic in the initial stages.

As the saying goes, preventing the above mentioned problems is much easier and safer then trying to cure them. According to experts, adequate intake of fluids, regular exercise and a wholesome vitamin rich diet are the sure-fire ways to maintain optimal prostate health.

Vitamins or vital amines are organic compounds which help the body in various ways, viz. convert food into energy, regulate the immune system, ensure bone strength etc. The specific prostate vitamins that help keep the prostate gland healthy are detailed below.

    1. Vitamin E: Studies have shown that regular supplementation with vitamin E in its alpha tocopherol form, significantly reduces the risk of prostate cancer. It

Children, middle aged, and older people do need physical fitness. It is a known fact that playing sports does give health benefits and prevent us from serious illnesses. However, with the advent of new technology, more and more people preferred to indulge in their internal activities such as watching television for long hours, computer games, chatting, and surfing the web.

If this kind of activity goes on for a long time, there is big chance that these people are going to have many unhealthy side effects. These includes, overweight, high blood pressure and diabetes. So how are we going to correct this situation? My suggestion is to divert them to physical activities like playing sports.

One healthy benefit of playing sports is you will burn more calories and therefore avoid being overweight. Engaging in the sports that you like most gives enjoyment and fun. If you constantly play the same sports your skill improves and this means you will feel more confident and will have more enjoyment.

Aside from having fun and enjoyment from playing your favorite sports, it improves your heart condition, builds up your stamina and increases your strength. You will look more energetic and healthy. Your agility will improve for sure too.

All these translates to a more enjoyable and healthy normal life. For those who are overweight, with the combination of proper food diet, they are going to loose weight for sure. For those who have hypertension, it will help normalize their blood pressure. Their endurance and stamina will increase and their heart beat pulse recovery will improve tremendously.

Another good side effect is it gives stress relief. This is true not only for adults but also for teenagers. It is a known fact that during our teen years, we all undergone rapid

Let me explain what healthy skin in simple words. Healthy skin is smooth, soft, evenly tonedin short, beautiful! How is this logical? Let us use an analogy. Youll know when youre sick when you dont feel well, you look pale and your skin feels clammy, right? Well, just like any other form of illness, it manifests itself in irregularities in your feeling and physical appearancejust like someone with Hepatatis has a yellowish complexion. And so, unhealthy skin can be defined by its rough texture, abnormal coloration (I say abnormal because each persons tone of complexion varies), dryness and oiliness, and skin that is inappropriate for your age. For instance, youre just in your twenties and yet you have wrinkles like youre in your fourties.

So, in contrast to what an unhealthy skin is, a healthy skin is smooth, soft, evenly toned and appropriate for natural aging. It makes sense, right? And whats most important is that these external factors symbolize that your skin is functioning properly in that it protects your body from the sometimes unkind effects of the environment, prevents harmful germs and bacteria from penetrating your body, and preserves the skins natural waterproof property.

So, knowing that a beautiful skin equals a healthy skin, let me give you just one very important word of advice that is essential in keeping your skin healthy and beautiful. Regulate your skins exposure to the sun. as you all know, sunlight contains harmful, and sometimes even fatal, UV rays that causes premature skin aging and skin cancer. It is your skins number one enemy. It not only makes you sweat, which bleeds your skin of the water it needs to function normally, but too much exposure also causes the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, and skin cancer.

    So, if you want to

Every week day for the past 2 years, I’ve done a daily practice with others virtually. Here’s how it works. I call the others on the phone, then one of us rings a bell to start and then again at the end, after 30 minutes. When we’re done, we each wish each other a wonderful day and go about our business.

During the 30 minutes, we each do our own practice. Sometimes I do all mindfulness meditation, sometimes I add in some meridian tapping and at times I’ve done some energy work on myself during the half hour. I always state my intention for who I want to be as the day unfolds.

Having this daily practice has probably been the most significant factor in helping me be my best. I never would have stuck with it so consistently if others hadn’t been involved. Just knowing others were waiting for my call each day made all the difference. We’ve been going for 2 years now and I can really see how it’s changed me.

Here’s what I notice: *Instead of helping me -get away from it all’, my practice helps me to show up for it all. I’m clearer about who I am, so I’m not so rocked by the world and others. I can let WAY more of life in and just BE with situations that before would have been very stressful or difficult.

*It gives me a daily reminder of a bigger picture of myself and who I am as a spiritual being. Instead of reacting like a pinball machine to things in my life, I actually feel as if I have choices.

*I feel healthier than ever. No colds or flu this year….

    * Since I review my intentions every day,
